This is a workshop your body will love! Working with some gentle restorative postures and partner work to begin to release areas of tension in the body, follow by myofascial release with tennis balls getting into tight areas in the body in particular the hips and back, and concluding with a long savasana this workshop will leave you feeling relaxed and more open. You’ll even go away with a few tips to recreate this feeling in the comfort of your own home.

As the dark night’s fall, and the weather gets a little cooler, it’s time to slow down and restore the body in preparation for the winter ahead. I will lead you through a delicious restorative sequence which will create space in the body. With long holds and lots of silence allowing you to fully tune into you body and feel the benefits of yoga postures. We will finish up with a Yoga Nidra practice which will leave you feeling rested and restored.

unwind, unravel and open

Unwind and unravel the emotion of the hips and open into your heart. We store a lot of old emotion in our hips and we can hold pain and suffering in the heart. This workshop will focus on creating space and freedom in our hips. We will gently open the heart using lots of juicy postures creating lightness and space. We will create heat in the body to slowly let go of stored emotion in the hips and release hardness in the heart to prepare the body for postures that work the hips and open the heart further, leaving you feeling free and light.

This workshop will begin with some guided writing and meditation to help you gain clarity and purpose. Allowing you to get connected to your inner wisdom and intuition, so that you can understand what you really desire and how to get it.

Our session will conclude with the creation of your very own vision board to help keep you inspired and motivated long after the workshop ends.

This workshop is open to all levels.

Bring a notepad and pen/pencil.

Vision board materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring along magazines (as long as you don't mind cutting them up) and items of inspiration to help with the process

When we connect to and move from our core we are able to better support ourselves and move with greater freedom, and integrity. Our core is not just about our abdominals it also encompasses the surrounding muscles in the pelvis and upper body. We will focus on initiating movement from the core, creating stability in the shoulders and hips as we move through space. Using your breath to light up your core will be a huge element of this workshop allowing you to live with more vitality and energy. Leaving you with a spring in your step.

There will be basic inversions all welcome

What’s it all about: We all live in a fast paced busy world, layered with ‘to do’ lists, obligations and stressors, which can leave us feeling run down and lacking in energy.

Using yoga and mindfulness can be a beneficial way to support a busy lifestyle, and provide tools that will help support your mind and body to keep you feeling full of energy, and relieve symptoms of stress and anxiety. Combining this with a clear nutritional plan to combat stress & anxiety will help you to feel at your very best.

What you get: you will learn breathing techniques and yoga poses to help support you when you feel anxious or stressed, and how you can reduce symptoms by unwinding your nervous system. You will learn more about stress and anxiety and the relationship between your gut and your brain. You will learn how nutritional therapy can support you in building resilience, learning what foods to avoid and foods to increase or include in your diet. You will get some practical takeaways and ideas to help build resilience in your life.

This therapeutic sequence will allow you to safely explore backbending, creating freedom in your heart, and allowing you to soften into the postures. Working through gentle backbends to both strengthen the back and open up your heart, in struggle free way. We will use lots of props to help you backbend safely and find space and integrity in the postures. Culminating with an apex pose of your choice to fully open and release any constriction or holding.

There will be options for all levels.

This workshop will rev up your metabolism, dust off the winter and get you ready for spring.
The core spans from our pelvis to the crown of the head. We will focus on initiating movement from the core, creating stability in the shoulders and hips as we move through space. Using your breath to light up your core will be a huge element of this workshop allowing you to live with more vitality and energy. So that you leave with a spring in your step. 

We will use some citrus Doterra oils throughout the workshop, that will leave you feeling energised and uplifted.
